On July 18, 2023, the Arab Union of Manufacturers of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Appliances (AUPAM) and the Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (BAPI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen pharmaceutical cooperation. The signing took place in Amman, Jordan, and marks a significant step in fostering collaboration between the pharmaceutical sectors of the Arab and Bangladeshi regions.

This agreement aims to enhance knowledge sharing, support manufacturing advancements, and create new opportunities for joint ventures in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. It is expected to bolster both organizations' efforts in promoting industry growth and improving healthcare access across their respective regions.
