Mr. Md. Halimuzzaman is the DMD & CEO of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd (HPL), the fastest growing pharmaceuticals company in Bangladesh with more than 6,000 employees. HPL is manufacturing more than 500 products and has a large sales and distribution network within the country and also overseas markets in Asia, Africa, CIS region, USA, Brazil, EU, Australia etc. Besides Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Mr. Halimuzzaman also looks after the overall business activities of several sister concerns including Healthcare Life Sciences Ltd. He is a Pharmacist from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and an MBA (Major in Finance). Mr. Halimuzzaman has 32 years of professional working experience in different fields of Pharmaceutical industry. He is the Treasurer & Member of the Executive Committee, Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceuticals Industries (BAPI) and the Member of Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Society (BPS). He is an integral part of several government delegations on pharmaceutical sector development in foreign countries and represents BAPI in the formulation of fiscal policy on Pharmaceuticals Industry in Bangladesh. Being a Director of Bangladesh Economic Zone Investors Association (BEZIA), he is working for the protection of common interest of all members/investors and for contributing to the economic success of Bangladesh. Mr. Halimuzzaman is the Sr. Vice President of BAAS, an alumni of Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship and Sustainable Partnership (AOTS) works under the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry, Japan.
