Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited (HPL) proudly presents its General Solid Production Unit, located within two advanced multi-story buildings designed to meet and exceed global pharmaceutical manufacturing standards. The facility adheres strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and is equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing and packaging machinery. Comprehensive HVAC and water systems are integrated throughout the unit, alongside rigorous health and safety standards, ensuring the production of the highest quality products.
HPL’s journey in solid production began in 2000 when it partnered with F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Switzerland, as a licensed manufacturer. By 2006, HPL transitioned to independent operations, further demonstrating its commitment to high-quality pharmaceutical production. In 2024, to meet the growing market demand, HPL launched a new, state-of-the-art Mega Site, which significantly enhanced production capacity and positioned the company for future innovations.
The General Solid Production Unit is certified by leading international regulatory authorities, including the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) of Australia, the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency (NPRA) of Malaysia, the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ), the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) of Kenya, the Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFDA), and the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (SBDMA) of Yemen.
HPL manufactures a diverse range of solid dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, powder for suspension, sachets, and effervescent tablets. With a strong focus on stringent regulatory compliance, health and safety standards, and advanced manufacturing techniques, HPL ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality pharmaceutical products that effectively meet global healthcare needs.
The unit's sophisticated HVAC system is a key component of our operations, featuring nine separate air handling units arranged according to a detailed zone plan. This includes four heating systems, seven return fans, six exhaust fans, four dehumidifiers, two wet de-dusting systems, three chillers, and four chilled water circulation pumps. These systems are designed to maintain optimal environmental conditions that are essential for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Through continuous innovation and adherence to the highest standards, HPL’s General Solid Production Unit remains at the forefront of delivering top-quality healthcare solutions and reinforcing our commitment to improving patient outcomes worldwide.
